Alabama Takes a Knee on Donald Trump

Over the last several months, the National Republican Party influence pedaling has been on steroids in this state. Rightfully so I guess, in that they think they own the political landscape here, and do for the most part.

Millions of dollars have been spent in every form of media advertising, TV, Radio, Internet, Printed media, and phone bank marketing. All promoted from the National Republican party and it's leadership.

Trump and Pence have both attended rallies this week here in support of their chosen candidate, "BIG" Luther Strange. Actually,  I have NEVER seen a political race so dominated by national party leaders in support of a specific candidate. Being in Huntsville last Friday when The President sponsored the Vote Luther Strange Rally, had one not known better, one would have thought that the 'Beatles" reunion was being held here.

With the majority of my adult life living in the great State of Texas, I have seen some real entertaining political battles, but none such as this in reference to influence pedaling.

Then, Alabama took a Knee on Donald Trump yesterday. Better said, Alabama gave " The Donald " the Middle Finger for lack of a better term.

The winner, Roy Moore will be a lighting rod in DC. He actually states in clear terms what he stands for, agree or not, you know where he stands. Moore has been removed from the State Supreme Court TWICE for failing to inforce/comply with a Federal Judge's Order. He openly defied Federal mandates to recognize and marry gay persons, failed to remove the 10 commandments from State grounds. He openly supports religious education in public schools, openly calls Islam a False Religion and the list goes on. Judge Moore will probably never be appointed as a diplomat or ambassador to any known nation, but, you know where he stands.

So to those of us who think The Donald may have forms of excited exuberance via Twitter or speech," you ain't seen nothing yet ", as some might say.

Stay tuned, O My Lord comments are soon to follow.
